Event Details: Learn to Ride Youth Program at Royale Ranch 3960 Albion Rd. Suitable for ages 7-13. 4 Weeks. Starting June 4 and ending June 25. This program is perfect for the rider who is new to the sport. Each class will be 50/50 Horsemanship and Riding. Each week is progressive learning new skills, and building on the skills from the previous week. This popular program is the perfect way to get started safely, while building a strong foundation, and having fun! Proper farm and riding attire is required for riders AND PARENTS as parents will be required to assist by leading the horses in the first few weeks. This includes dressing for the weather, breeches or long stretchy pants, riding boot or a shoe/boot with a 1/2inch heel (such as bloodstones). Helmets can be provided if you don't have your own! Rubber boots are highly recommended during muddy season. No canvas shoes, heels, or sandals. Please do not bring treats for the horses, no dogs or smoking permitted.
